Following on from the Place du Pantheon, the Place de la Nation is now undergoing major redevelopment and was inaugurated by Paris Town Hall on 7th July last. Work started end 2018 and will be completed this autumn 2019.
Works are also underway to improve the Place de la Bastille, Gambetta, Place des Fêtes et Place de la Madeleine.
The Place de la Bastille will be unrecognisable with its 1.1 hectares of pedestrian zones putting an end to the emblematic roundabout.
